Not a government website

TN Health Options is an independent website run by a licensed insurance agent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by HealthCare.gov, the Health Insurance Marketplace®, Medicare, TennCare, the State of Tennessee, or any government agency. For the official federal Marketplace, visit HealthCare.gov.

Health Insurance Marketplace® and Marketplace are registered service marks of the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services. This site does not use government logos.

Who runs this site

Chuck Huckaby, licensed health insurance agent in Tennessee and other states, NPN 1720715. This site covers Tennessee coverage only. Contact: hello@tnhealthoptions.com.

How Chuck is paid

Agents are paid commissions by insurance companies, and sometimes by other vendors, when a customer enrolls. Using an agent doesn't change the price of a Marketplace plan. Chuck may not be appointed with every insurer in your area, so he may not offer every plan. All Marketplace plans are listed at HealthCare.gov.

Medicare help comes from a separate licensed agent

Chuck does not provide the Medicare help linked on this site. Buttons labeled "Agent link" with "Talk to Renee Huckaby" go to Renee Huckaby, a separate insurance agent licensed in Tennessee and other states (NPN 20165711). She is a separate licensed agent, and her own disclosures apply. This site names no Medicare insurers or plans. For information on all Medicare options, visit Medicare.gov or call 1-800-MEDICARE.

Enrollment consent

Before Chuck helps you enroll in a Marketplace plan, you will review your application information and give documented consent, as federal rules require (45 CFR 155.220(j)).

Health care sharing ministries

Where this site discusses health care sharing ministries, they are described as what they are: not insurance.

Health sharing is not insurance. Health care sharing ministries are not insurance companies, are not regulated as insurance in Tennessee (Tenn. Code Ann. § 56-7-116), are not ACA Marketplace plans, and do not qualify for premium tax credits. Tennessee notice (Tenn. Code Ann. § 48-51-201): "Notice: The organization facilitating the sharing of medical expenses is not an insurance company, and neither its guidelines nor plan of operation is an insurance policy. Whether anyone chooses to assist you with your medical bills will be totally voluntary because no other participant will be compelled by law to contribute toward your medical bills. As such, participation in the organization or a subscription to any of its documents should never be considered to be insurance. Regardless of whether you receive any payments for medical expenses or whether this organization continues to operate, you are always personally responsible for the payment of your own medical bills."

Data and accuracy

Figures come from cited public sources (mainly CMS and HealthCare.gov) and were checked October 24, 2026. Plan-year 2026 figures will be updated when 2027 data is published. Anything we could not confirm with an official source is marked Not confirmed or left out. This site is general information, not legal, tax or medical advice.
